We had a wonderful Saturday at @austinfoodwine Festival! Have you experienced the Austin Food & Wine Festival?

One of my favorite parts of the festival are the wine talks. It is an incredible way to try some phenomenal wines shared by the winemakers themselves and other industry professionals. You will learn about wines of different regions, get a taste of new-to-you wines, and the opportunity to ask questions! I sat in on the panel led by Winemaker/Owner @elrandino of @clbutaud, Winemaker Jason Centanni of @llanowine and John Bratcher who is Director of Sales at @mcphersoncellars. Truly a huge highlight hearing them speak to their journey and celebrating ‘GOOD WINE’ that happens to be from Texas! Also great to see @somm_c_howell at the wine talks, one of my favorites in the industry. He has a huge wine knowledge and makes it approachable.
@rabblewine also had a great wine talk and spoke to their sustainability efforts.

The restaurant owners also showed up strong. Enjoyed incredible bites from the fire pit (@chefjasondady red snapper hit), @bentopicnic daikon rolls, @lichascantinaceviche, @pokepokebowls, @levachertx flavorful country pork pate, @nidoatxchicken liver with blackberry jam, @blindsalamanderkitchen seaweed cone with capers & tobiko is perfection!

Tasting sessions with Audubon Conservation Ranching and Burgess Cellars was both delicious and educational.

For the beer lovers the festival featurued @stellaartoisusa airstream for beer & fries plus @guinnessus was pouring. For spirits, we checked out the booths and experiences at @martinirossius, @georgedickel, @quirido tequila, @baileysofficial, and @400conejosus.
