Homegrown Austin hospitality group New Waterloo presents Marg Madness, their first-but-not-last bar crawl for a cause, benefiting Justice for Our Neighbors Austin. This citywide margarita celebration invites participants to visit eight participating New Waterloo properties, imbibe with Austin’s favorite drink all over the city and take home serious bragging rights, a custom hat, and the chance to win a 2-night stay at South Congress Hotel.
Tip-off begins Tuesday, March 18, at participating Austin properties: Sway, Il Brutto, La Condesa, Maie Day, Watertrade, Café No Sé, South Congress Hotel’s Lobby Bar and Mañana. Guests can pick up a bracket card at any location, order the featured margarita to earn a sticker, then advance through all locations through March 31. A fully completed bracket with all eight margaritas earns a limited-edition Marg Madness championship hat and raffle entry for a two-night stay with valet at South Congress Hotel.
A portion of margarita sales will be donated to Justice for Our Neighbors, a nonprofit law office that welcomes immigrants and refugees into communities through free, high-quality immigration legal services, advocacy and education.
