Texas Sake Company is celebrating their grand opening of their new tasting room Saturday November 24th from 2:30pm-7pm. They will also be pouring two of their newest styles of sake.

I had an opportunity to attend one of the soft openings which were held the first 3 Saturdays of November. They have added comfortable seating with tables in the kura.

Their sakes are certified organic and they use rice grown in Texas. They are currently pouring 4 Junmai sakes: Whooping Crane, Rising Star, Tumbleweed: Bonedry and Double Nigori. You may purchase sake by the glass (small or large pour), bottle or a flight of all four. Each of their sakes have unique notes and aromas. I highly suggest trying the flight to sample each.
