The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas hosts incredible wine and food centric events throughout the year. Through their philanthropy program many of these events benefit nonprofits in our community to include Dell Children\’s Medical Center, Austin Food for Life, the Sustainable Food Center and Texas A&M Viticulture & Fruit Lab.
I recently attended a preview of the amazing events that Wine & Food Foundation of Texas is launching this spring to include Toast & Roast on March 1st. The event will take place on the gorgeous grounds of Rancho Cuernavaca and will showcase some of Texas\’ finest wineries. From 2 p.m.-3 p.m. guests will have an opportunity to sip and stroll while tasting Texas Monthly\’s (twenty) Best Texas Wines of 2014. From 3 p.m.-5 p.m. guests will be treated to a roast by Chef Bates of Noble Pig, music by Sour Bridges and glasses of wines from the award wining wineries Fall Creek Vineyards and Pedernales Cellars.
