Full disclosure: I attended a tea party at Jacoby\’s Restaurant and Mercantile for a complimentary tasting. All opinions are my own.
I attended a lovely tea party this afternoon at Jacoby\’s Restaurant and Mercantile. The tea party was a meet and great with their new Pastry Chef Mindy Cohrs and they showcased her incredible desserts. Mindy has been baking as long as she can remember. She started baking with her mother as a child and fell in love with it. Mindy graduate from Le Cordon Bleu and has been baking professionally for 5 years. Mindy is incredibly talented and has an infectious spirit about her. Come by and try her decadent sweets both in the restaurant and mercantile. All the sweets were absolutely delicious with the strawberry cake being my personal favorite. The heavenly strawberry cake and cake balls are Adam Jacoby\’s grandmother\’s recipe and the Kelli\’s blueberry muffins is his mother\’s recipe.
During the tea party Kris Swift and Adam Jacoby shared that brunch will officially launch Sunday March 8th. I had a sneak peek of the brunch menu and Austin diners are in for a real treat.
