Bullfight Bringing Flavors of Spain to Austin

Bullfight

There are so many exciting new restaurants opening in Austin this year making it hard to choose which one to visit first. If you have not dined at Bullfight do yourself a favor and put it at the top of your list! The stunning restaurant has a gorgeous patio and the restaurant is stunning with warm browns and accents of crisp white & blue.
Granacha Rose and Sangria at Bullfight

The bar program is exceptional with luscious wines, a small thoughtful cocktail selection and a nice variety of of sangrias. The Sangria Y Vermut drink list is a great value as they range from $4-7. During happy hour which is Monday-Friday until 6:30pm guest can enjoy 1/2 off Monday-Friday guest can enjoy 1/2 enjoy all liquor/cocktails until 6:30 pm guests can enjoy 1/2 off all liquor/cocktails, beer, and bar snacks throughout the entire restaurant!
Bacon-Wrapped Dates at Bullfight

The talented chefs Shawn Cirkiel and Ryan Shields are producing modernized Spanish classic cuisine that will knock your socks off. The decedent bacon-wrapped dates are a must try! The incredible dates are wrapped in warm crisp bacon and stuffed with a rich Valdeón cheese (Spanish blue).

Jamon Serrano at Bullfight

Watching the sliced to order jamón serrano is quite the show. The cured meat melts in your mouth and that tomato bread it is served with is delightful. The firm aged mahón cheese pairs nicely with the pork and the house-made accompaniments of cherry and white raisin pair with the cheese perfectly.

Raw Bass at Bullfight

While I enjoyed each dish the raw bass is my favorite dish. The delicate bass is topped with a flavorful piperade and it is plated with an splendid olive puree.

Grilled Octopus at Bullfight

Tentacles seem to be all the rage at newer restaurants in Austin, Bullfight included. Their grilled octopus has a nice char and was plated simply with pickled carrots, fennel and radish.

Reservations are recommended as this restaurant fills up quickly.
