Full disclosure: I attended a preview party at Growler USA and received complimentary samplings of drinks and bites. All opinions are my own.
Growler USA is a new microbrew pub pouring 100 American-made craft beverages near UT. 65 of the taps are Texas-made. In addition to an exceptional beer tap lineup Growler USA also serves a nice selection of hard ciders, meads, wines, kombucha and cold-pressed coffee on tap. Drinks are served in 4 oz., flights, 8-16 oz. (varies by tap) and guest may opt to fill a growler to go. The Cicerone® certified team at Growler USA are incredibly knowledgable about the microbrew pub offerings adding to the experience. I love the thought they put into each tap selected especially the unique dry ciders and local meads that I tasted.

The neighborhood gathering place serves localized food menu with something for everyone. We sampled a variety of bites and are impressed with the elevated pub offerings to include the splendid Soco Mediterranean Platter, West Campus Edamame, Town Lake Tater Tots (notably the best tater tots I have tasted), comforting Capital Cowboy Chili served with Brewer\’s Spent Grain chips, savory Mac n Cheese and my personal favorite the Eastside Seared Ahi Tuna. Growler USA also has a kid\’s menu and fair trade Main Root soda.
