While sadly the Austin Food & Wine Festival outdoor programs were cancelled this weekend there a few noteworthy events to get your chocolate and bubbles fix!
Here are three events that will surely lift your spirits:
When: Friday, April 22nd from 5pm – 7pm
What: Lenoir and Serena Lissy are teaming up for a Chocolates & Bubbles Happy Hour in the Lenoir Wine Garden!
The selections of chocolates are zinfandel/milk chocolate ganache bonbon, a passion fruit marshmallow/rum milk chocolate ganache bonbon, an Espresso ganache bonbon and a salted caramel ganache bonbon. All are hand-painted, little masterpieces.
Also, yakitori antelope heart with fermented kohlrabi and umeboshi green strawberry relish, the dish intended to be featured by Lenoir at Food+Wine, will be on the wine garden menu. They will also have some of their bubbles on happy hour specials.

What: Infinite Monkey Theorem Texas Sparking Wine Release Party
It’s time to celebrate with The Infinite Monkey Theorem (IMT)! Using Texas grapes, the urban winery is ready to launch its first batch of the 2014 Bubbles Universe, Texas Sparkling Blanc du Bois – a showstopper showing notes of crisp orchard fruits, kaffir lime and white blossoms. The Bubbles Universe marks the fourth Texas wine for IMT, following the Texas Rosé, Vermentino, Trebbiano and Chenin Blanc.
To commemorate the occasion, IMT is throwing a party with Bubbles Universe specially priced at $8/glass, live and interactive spray painting with Miles Starkey, music from DJ Phauxkising, winery tours and demonstrations on how IMT makes sparkling wine. Food will be available for purchase from Hot Mess food truck.

What: A Taste of the South Exclusive Chocolate Tasting
