Grand Opening May 4th
Basecamp, Austin\’s newest High-End Sports Bar, is opening May 4th and is inviting the community to Come help them! The party is from 6pm-10pm and will include complimentary appetizers, speciality cocktails and Bud Light from (Doors open at 5pm). In addition they will be showing the Cavs/Hawks starting at 7pm, and they\’ll have all the NHL Playoff action going, too.
Kentucky Derby Viewing Party May 7th
Basecamp is also partaking in the Kentucky Derby action by hosting a viewing party like no other on
Saturday, May 7th, 3 p.m., race coverage begins at 4 p.m.

Basecamp is a haven for sports fans with 13 televisions. The team at Basecamp invites you to come early to get a good viewing spot for the afternoon race. Ladies can enjoy a glass of complimentary champagne and there will be specials on Mint Juleps and bourbon libations. Each guest will receive a giveaway ticket to enter to win one of two prizes:
1) a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes (value $1500)
or
2) four tickets to the University of Texas 2016 Football Kick-Off Season game versus Notre Dame
Ladies who wear a hat receive an extra ticket. Additional tickets will be available for purchase for $25. The winner will be announced at 5 p.m. In addition to drink specials, the full menu featuring elevated American classics from Executive Chef Eric Kuypers, formerly of Uchi and Peached Tortilla, will be available.
