Gem&Bolt Mezcal + Damiana Launch

Gem&Bolt is excited to launch their holistic, fair-trade Mezcal + Damiana in Austin, TX! The artist-alchemist duo and Gem&Bolt founders Adrina and Elliott are launching their unique damiana filtered mezcal tonight at Whisler\’s in east Austin. Guests are invited to partake in the festivities that kick off at 8PM. Whisler\’s will be shaking up some special cocktails at the downstairs Altar Bar, intimate tastings will take place at the upstairs Mezcal bar, live music will be performed by Carlos Heredia and the amazing founders will be on site! I previewed Gem&Bolt Mezcal last night and enjoy the unique flavors. Gem&Bolt Mezcal is perfect for sipping and also makes for a lovely cocktail with the slightest hint of smokiness. The damiana is a traditional Mexican herb believed to have mythological properties.

I tried a nicely balanced cocktail with Gem&Bolt Mezcal, fresh grapefruit juice, rosemary liquor with a dash of their aromatic Damiana Elixir. The herb forward cocktail with light citrus and hint of smoke was absolutely delicious and refreshing.

Adrina and Elliot beautifully blend a quality spirit with their love of art which can be seen through the edgy yet fun branding of Gem&Bolt. Come help them celebrate in a spirited fashion Thursday, June 16th starting at 8PM at Whisler\’s.
