Toss Pizzeria & Pub quietly opened on South 1st St. this week serving up some fabulous game-time eats, savory pizzas and refreshing adult beverages. This was a long time dream-come-true for Justin DeLaCruz one of the managing partners at Toss Pizzeria & Pub. The remodeled space is welcoming and approachable with a casual dining room, nice bar and covered patio complete with games making it a hot spot for a Sunday funday.

We started off with a variety of appetizers to include a variety of Wings and Stuffed Pretzels. The finger-licking wings were served with sauces that complimented the each flavor perfectly. I swooned over the doughy pretzels stuffed with crisp bacon and gooey cheese.

While I loved the appetizers, the pizzas stole the show! The house specialty will have your tastebuds spinning from decedent Pork Belly Carbonara, richly flavored Pulled Pork Jalepeno to the classic Margherita with Roasted Garlic. The Pork Belly Carbonara with house-prepared pork belly, pancetta, 6 plump sunny side up eggs and a remarkable Romano cream sauce. The Pulled Pork Jalapeno (pictured above) was also a crowd favorite.

Saving room for dessert is a must as you will not want to miss out on their perfectly toasted S\’mores! Other desserts on the menu include NY Cheesecake and a gluten free Torte Cake.

The exciting variety of Toss Margaritas, Toss Mules and Toss Back (classics) make for the perfect patio sippers. We recommend the perfectly balanced Gin Gin Mule with Ford\’s Gin, ginger beer, fresh lime and mint. Other favorites are the Duck Duck Mule, scrumptious Texas Mule with grapefruit juice and the Frozen House Margarita with choice of floater.
