Cocktails with American Born Moonshine

American Born Moonshine with Sparkling Cocktail

Full Disclosure: I received a complimentary bottle of American Born Moonshine to share my experience with Sushi in the ATX readers. All opinions are my own.
Celebrate your summer with two very American flavors, Apple Pie and Moonshine!
American Born Moonshine is handcrafted and offers three incredible flavors: Original White Lightning Moonshine, Apple Pie Moonshine and a sweet tea infused Dixie Moonshine. Every American-made mason jar is filled with just the right blend of corn, sugar and water along with roots that trace all the way back to the hills of Appalachia.

We kicked off the Fourth of July with the Apple Pie Moonshine and are keeping the libations flowing through the month as we have some mixology fun with this one of a kind craft spirit.

American Born Moonshine Apple Pie and Sparkling Mineral Water Mixer

For a summer sipper we recommend mixing American Born Moonshine Apple Pie with your favorite sparkling water over ice. The Moonshine is flavorful and this wonderfully simple recipe is also lower calorie. The Apple Pie flavor also tastes delightful straight up.

Recipe:
2 ounces American Born Apple Pie Moonshine
4 ounces Sparkling Water
Pour over ice and stir

American Born Apple Pie Moonshine Mule

For our second cocktail we stirred up the Ginger Snap recipe from the American Born Moonshine website that proved to be a simple and refreshing drink. The hint of baking spices from the moonshine and the spice from the ginger ale compliment each other beautifully.

Recipe:
2 ounces American Born Apple Pie Moonshine
4 ounces Ginger Ale
Pour over ice and stir

What are your favorite cocktail recipes with moonshine?
