Join me in welcoming back Celis Brewery on the taps! You can now find their beers at several of Austin area best spots. And Austin owned Celis Brewery is hosting a grand (re)Opening Celebration with featured beer specials, bites by Frank, music by Kid Slyce and more! I previewed the new space and it us truly spectacular. One of my favorite features of the brewery is the original Copper Kettle from the Belgium brewery is transformed into one-of-a-kind bar.
I can already taste the summer friendly and refreshing Celis White. Celis Brewery, Austin’s first craft brewery, originally founded by famed Pierre Celis, is holding its Grand Opening celebration exactly 25 years to the day after its initial debut in 1992. The beloved brewery has been rebuilt by Christine Celis, Pierre’s daughter and partner in the original Celis Brewery. The reopening celebration features a Celis custom sausage bite menu by Frank, half-price beers — Including Celis White — from 6-9 p.m., a commemorative glass for the first 200 people, and music by Kid Slyce and special guest.
What is in the works? Christine is adding a beer garden, working museum and bottling so stay tuned!
