Refreshing Spring 2018 Menu Offerings at Andiamo


Full Disclosure: I attended a media tasting and received a complimentary dining experience at Andiamo Ristorante. All opinions are my own.

I had the pleasure of tasting the new seasonal spring menu items at Andiamo this week an it was easily one of the best dining experiences I have enjoyed in 2018. When I think of Andiamo genuine, welcoming, charmed are just a few words that instantly come to mind. The north Austin restaurant has prepares beautifully executed Italian cuisine and the charismatic owner Daniela Marcone along with her team makes each guest feel at welcomed.
Here is a look at the new spring dishes:
Ronchetti di Cetriolo e Mascarpone at Andiamo
Ronchetti di Cetriolo e Mascarpone is a light and lovely spring addition. It is a dish of fresh cucumber, filled with creamy mascarpone and cream cheese, topped with mouthwatering smoked salmon finished with chives and basil olive oil. Bonus, this item is naturally gluten free.
Cozze in Umido at Andiamo

Cozze in Umido is perfection. It is a bowl of black mussels, sautéed in an incredible spicy tomato sauce, served with their famous toasted Andiamo bread.
Tagliatelle al Ragu at Andiamo

For a heartier dish, try the exceptional Tagliatelle al Ragu made with homemade tagliatelle pasta and ragu’ alla Bolognese sauce. 
Ravioli di Barbabietole at Andiamo

The Instagram worthy Ravioli di Barbabietole has been a spring favorite for years! Its a delightful dish of homemade pasta stuffed with red beets and all-natural Italian ricotta ravioli, sautéed in pistachio and basil pesto sauce. The green and pink beautifully pop and the flavors marry so well.
Andiamo makes my gnocchi favorite and the Gnocchi alla Salvia e Piselli on the spring menu surpassed my expectations. The tender potato dumplings are plated with earthy mushrooms, green peas and fresh garlic, in a brown butter and sage sauce, finished with pecorino cheese. The dish has comforting flavors yet feels light.
Anatra all\’ Arancia at Andiamo

Anatra all’Arancia is a must try! The flavorful pan roasted duck breast has hints of citrus from orange zest & orange brandy sauce, served with asparagus.
Cheesecake all\’ Arancia at Andiamo

The alluring Cheesecake all’Arancia is rich meets savory. This brightly flavored cheesecake has orange and all-natural ricotta.
Pere al Vino Rosso at Andiamo

The heavenly Pere al Vino Rosso is pure bliss. The picture perfect pears are cooked in red wine & filled with heavenly mascarpone cream.
