The space feels inviting and showcases beautiful wooden communal seating, a wrap around ramen bar and an open kitchen. The restaurant is serving up its famous ramen bowls and bombs along with the signature menu of small bites like the popular Sweet & Sour Yodas, rice bowls and delightful sweets.

One thing that is unique to this location is an expanded craft cocktail menu, helmed by Tatsu-Ya Family Beverage Director Michael Phillips, that is sure to delight. The creative cocktails that beautifully blends Western cocktail tradition with Japanese flavor components. I am officially obsessed with their Faux-zay frozen cocktail! The cocktail lineup includes:
Dachi Trejo – A tequila based concoction of sudachi, honeysuckle, salt.
Red Beard – A handsome rye whiskey based cocktail with red shiso, pomegranate, ginger and citrus.
Kaiun Collins -barley shochu creation with calpis, sansho, citrus and soda.
Faux-zay – A refreshing frozen cocktail made with plum wine, sake, berry and rose water.

Salad and Faux-zay at Ramen Tatsu-Ya East |
I dined in on opening day and had a wonderful dining experience. The entrance is lined with misting fans and their is a water station to keep guests hydrated. Ordering was smooth and I was charmed with the stunning, welcoming space. As mentioned previously, I LOVE the Faux-zay, a fun play on the trendy frosé. While I didn\’t partake in ramen this visit (don\’t judge me, this was my second lunch of the day), I did thoroughly enjoy a brightly flavored vibrant cabbage & carrot based salad with lovely notes of ginger and miso. The new location is perfect for lunch, dinner and late night eats on the weekends.
