WHAT: Flatwater Foundation, the Austin-based nonprofit dedicated to providing cancer victims and their loved ones access to mental health support, is excited to announce a virtual auction like no other taking place on August 5-9. Keep Auction Weird is the latest fundraising event for Flatwater Foundation, featuring a variety of items and services worth $150 or more from Austin favorites, like YETI, Tyson Cole, and more. Best of all, each item and service is crowdsourced directly from supporters, raising much-needed funds that provide mental healthcare for people affected by a cancer diagnosis.
Notable items up for auction include but are not limited to the following:

Virtual omakase sushi dinner and class with Chef Tyson Cole, James Beard award winner and founder/owner of Uchi + Uchiko, starting at $2,000. Dinner will include a multi-course meal with wine and sake pairings for the winner and up to five friends. Using Uchi’s in-person private dining experience as inspiration, Tyson will virtually teach the group how to assemble each dish while discussing the background and inspiration of the tastings throughout the event.

YETI Ultimate Camping Bundle, valued at $1,450 and starting at just $580, includes two Hondo Base Camp Chairs, one Lowlands Blanket, one Rambler Half Gallon Jug, one Camino Carryall 35, and one Tundra Haul Hard Cooler.

Two one-hour swim lessons with six-time Olympic medalist, former world record-holder, and Olympic Team Captain Brendan Hansen in his state-of-the-art Elite Endless Pool, starting at a $150 bid. The Endless Pool creates a set current allowing the athlete to swim in place while working on technique, building endurance, and gaining confidence. Athletes must be over seven years old. Any ability welcome.
