Bending Branch Winery

Texas Fine Wine invites you to a special tasting that pairs wines from Bending Branch Winery, Duchman Family Winery, Pedernales Cellars and Spicewood Vineyards with cheeses from Pure Luck Farm & Dairy, River Whey Creamery, Eagle Mountain Farmhouse and Veldhuizen Cheese Shop. Join them for this pairing event (outdoors and socially distanced) at the Bending Branch Wine Club Lounge. Wine Appreciation Series: From Grape to Glass
This series will create an appreciation for wine in all its components from the terroir, to the vines, to the grapes, to the types of wines and their dimensions, to the regions, and how to develop your palate in tasting wines and what foods to pair with your wine selections. New World and Old World wines will be shared with Texas always in the mix- specifically Fall Creek. The first class will serve as an overview of the components of wine traits with a focus on taste such as acidity, tannin, sweetness, etc, as well as reading and understanding labels.

Pedernales Cellars
When: Every Saturday in May

Every Saturday Pedernales Cellars invites guests to join for live music outside from 1pm-5pm. Reservations are required for tastings, which are held on their patio weather permitting. Lawn seating is also available with first come first serve seating to enjoy a bottle. They do have a limited amount of lawn seating so we do permit you to bring your own chairs.

Spicewood Vineyards

Every first Friday of the month, Spicewood Vineyards owner, Ron Yates, invites a musician to join him at the vineyard for a night of songs, wine tastings, and some untold stories from the vines. The evening begins with a few songs from our special guest that week, and then, they join Ron to taste through three different wines. Ron and his guest will talk about tasting notes and winemaking, along with music and songwriting. The Friday Night Wine Downs are meant for people all over the wine spectrum to join.
For those who would like to taste along they offer the three packs of wine for purchase online or at the vineyard. The online event itself is free via the Facebook Page or by subscribing to their YouTube Channel. On May 6th, musician Pauline Reese and in person tickets make be purchased HERE.

This Mother’s Day weekend, book an Educational Wine Experience or the Chef’s Food & Wine Pairing for mom. The beautiful vineyard estate will transport mom to Hill Country bliss, with a side of wine and live music.
The Educational Wine Experience has a knowledgeable tasting room ambassador guide you through a tasting of William Chris’s Hill Country wines. This experience lasts approximately 45 minutes.
The Chef’s Food & Wine Pairing is an elevated experience hosted in the Hye Society Member’s Private Room. Chef Josh Tye has curated a wine pairing experience featuring small bites built around seasonal ingredients to perfectly pair with William Chris wines.
