Hill Country Wine Camp 2026: Go Beyond the Tasting Room

Wine Boot Camp with Texas Hill Country Wines

If you’ve ever wanted to understand what makes Texas wine so special, Hill Country Wine Camp is one of the most unique wine experiences you’ll find anywhere in the state.

Returning July 17–19, 2026, this three-day immersive event invites wine lovers to step beyond the tasting room and into the heart of Texas wine country. Hosted by Texas Hill Country Wineries, Wine Camp combines educational seminars, guided tastings, vineyard experiences, food pairings, and hands-on activities led by the growers, winemakers, and industry experts shaping one of America’s fastest-growing wine regions.

Whether you’re just beginning your Texas wine journey or already have a favorite winery, Hill Country Wine Camp offers the chance to deepen your appreciation for the grapes, terroir, and people behind every bottle.

What to Expect at Hill Country Wine Camp

Unlike a traditional wine festival, Hill Country Wine Camp is designed as an educational weekend where guests can interact directly with Texas wine professionals while exploring three iconic Hill Country destinations.

Friday, July 17

Carter Creek Winery Resort – Johnson City

Kick off the weekend with a walk-around tasting featuring eight Texas wineries pouring Spanish-inspired wines paired with Spanish-influenced cuisine. It’s the perfect introduction to Texas wine while meeting fellow wine enthusiasts in a relaxed setting.

Saturday, July 18

Becker Vineyards – Fredericksburg

Saturday dives deep into Texas wine education with a full day of interactive experiences including:

  • Vineyard 101
  • Exploring Texas terroir
  • Comparative tasting of Roussanne and Mourvèdre
  • Blind tasting workshop
  • Build-your-own wine board session
