Hello fellow veterans! Here is a round up of places in the Austin area offering dining specials to veterans and active duty military members on Veterans Day. Thank you for your service and I hope you have an amazing day!

Austin\’s own Hopdoddy Burger Bar is paying tribute to veterans and active duty military members with a special Veterans Day discount. On Tuesday, November 11th present a military ID or come in uniform and get half of your entire bill. I recommend the ahi tuna and primetime burger with Texas akaushi beef.

*Discount will apply toward the entire bill of the military member and their family members if the bill is paid in one transaction. Half off for active military members; people in uniform or with a military ID.

I have personally dined at III Forks on Veterans Day and felt pampered by the wonderful staff. They offer a free entree up to $35 with proof of military service. I recommend the filet mignon Oscar style.

Cedro is in my neck of the woods and we dine their frequently. Cedro\’s specialty is house made pastas. I recommend the P.E.I. mussels and arancini for starters and the fettucini carbonara as the main entree.
