Heading Back to School with Salata

Bento-box Style Kids Meal at Salata

Full Disclosure: I am partnering with Salata to bring some healthy new posts to my blog. Salata provided me a Salata gift card to cover the cost of the menu items featured. All opinions are my own.

Salata launched new kids menu items that will have the kiddos excited to eat their fruits and veggies! These fun bento-box style meals include 5 fruits or vegetables of their choice and either a protein, dressing or peanut butter. We gave it a try today and opted for freshly sliced carrots, red grapes, cucumbers, peas, delicious pineapple and creamy peanut butter. The bento-box is a mere $6 and comes with bread and a juice box.

Salata also launched a new catering menu which includes green goodness, spicy Thai crunch and keen wah kale which can be ordered as a salad or wraps. These exciting new additions to the catering menu are a result of a Salata employee recipe competition. I love the green goodness made with  crisp spring mix, kale, chickpeas, fresh broccoli, cilantro, chopped bell peppers, alfalfa sprouts, pumpkin seeds, creamy feta & pesto chicken paired with a fresh herb vinaigrette dressing. Keep them in mind for your next office lunch or party. Salads may also be ordered as wraps with sensational flavors like Thai ginger tortillas and cool cucumber tortillas.

Salata invites you to dine in and enjoy some of their Texas-based fall menu items to include: pecans, creamy goat cheese, dry rub chicken, pit-smoked turkey and refreshing prickly pear limeade.
