From Round Rock to North and South Austin the past week there has been a plethora of exciting new restaurant openings! Here is a quick look:
HOPDODDY\’S BURGER BAR
Hopdoddy\’s Burger Bar is opening their doors in Round Rock today, January 18th. The wildly popular hot spot will officially open at 11 am. this morning. Expect nothing but the best juicy burgers on freshly baked buns, hand-cut fries, fresh salads, delectable shakes and refreshing cocktails.
Tip: Order the Goodnight for a good cause. For each Goodnight burger sold $1 is donated to LONE STAR PARALYSIS.

TORCHY\’S TACOS
Torchy\’s Tacos is celebrating the opening of their new restaurant on South Congress with free tacos, drinks, chips & dips, family-friendly entertainment and music from The Lost Pines. The party is 6pm-9pm on January 18th and they will officially open their doors at 7am January 19th. There is no debate, Torchy\’s Democrat, Republican and Independent tacos are all delicious but my favorite is the green chili pork taco.

BARLEY SWINE
Bryce Gilmore, two time James Beard award nominee and a Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2011, is moving one of his farm-to-table centric restaurants from South Lamar restaurants to Burnet Rd. Barley Swine\’s menu consists of beautifully plated shareable plates consisting of Texas ingredients. Barley Swine officially opens today, January 18th. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are highly recommended.
Tip: Dine in during Swine Time and enjoy discounted small bites, wines, $3 beers and half off all bombers. Swine Time is Monday-Friday 5:00pm – 7:00pm.

BUFFALINA DUE
Buffalina Due officially opened Saturday, January 16th. Buffalina Due serves authentic Neapolitan pizza topped with high quality ingredients. The pies are roughly 12\” in diameter and cooked to perfection in their Stefano Ferrara wood-burning oven which runs about 900 degrees.
Tip: While Neapolitan pizzas are the star of the menu you won\’t want to miss out the daily mozzarella offering and their incredible burrata.

NAPA FLATS
Texas based chain Napa Flats Wood-Fired Kitchen opened Sunday, January 17th in North Austin. Napa Flats prides themselves in serving locally sourced, made from scratch unique and delicious cuisine.
