Hopdoddy Burger Bar Now Open in Round Rock

Full disclosure: I attended an opening day event and received a complimentary meal. All opinions are my own.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar opened the doors to their new Round Rock location yesterday! Hopdoddy is known for their delicious burgers, hand-cut fries, fresh salads, delectable shakes and refreshing cocktails. All of locations use all-natural ingredients while the beef is humanely raised and never given growth hormones or antibiotics. Their golden hand-cut fries are made from Kennebec potatoes. The soft buns are made from scratch and baked fresh daily.

I dined-in opening day and was impressed with both the layout and design of the new location. There is a gorgeous dog friendly patio, a full bar, communal seating and cozy booths. I typically go with the Classic Burger which is phenomenal with perfectly cooked angus beef topped with red leaf lettuce, onion, a slice of ripe beef steak tomato and their signature Sassy Sauce with a slice of melted Tillamook cheese for good measure. Friend and dining companion Linda Nguyen swears by he Primetime Burger with an egg on it (pictured above).

Ahi Tuna Burger at Hopdoddy Burger Bar

Yesterday I found my new favorite Hopdoddy menu item, the gorgeous ahi-tuna burger! I love all the elements of their incredible ahi tuna burger. It has lightly seared sushi-grade tuna, fresh sprouts, a delightful teriyaki sauce and topped with a tantalizing honey wasabi, crisp nori chips on a fresh baked bun speared playfully with pickled ginger. We also sampled their incredibly addicting Parmesan truffle fries served with a fantastic truffle aioli.
