Pineapple Tequila Sorbet and French 77 1/2 at Prohibition Creamery |
Prohibition Creamery opened their doors last week serving up refreshing cocktails and beautifully flavored ice cream. The east Austin shop brilliantly combines two favorite indulgences, alcohol and ice cream. The ice cream is made entirely from scratch in their kitchen and is made from local fresh milk, cream, eggs & sugar. Founder Laura Aidan attended Penn State University\’s 120-year-old ice cream program learning as much as she could about the world\’s most beloved treat.

Pineapple Tequila Sorbet at Prohibition Creamery |
With just one bite of delicious sorbets & ice creams creations it is apparent that Laura has successfully mastered the art of infusing spirits into uniquely flavored ice cream that is simply irresistible. One of my favorite pairings is the French 77 1/2 with the brightly flavored Pineapple Tequila Sorbet.

The shop itself has a speakeasy feel with copper bar and sleek black booths. In addition, guests are welcome to enjoy their cocktails and sweet treats al fresco style on the patio.
