Grizzelda’s Serving Upscale Mexican Cuisine

Tostada de Atun at Grizzelda\’s
Full Disclosure: I attended a complimentary preview at Grizzelda\’s. All opinions are my own.

I had the pleasure of experiencing an exciting first look at Grizzelda\’s, the newest restaurant from the Jacoby Restaurant Group. The restaurant pops with exquisite design, vibrant decor, enchanting patio, thoughtful cocktail menu that pairs beautifully with the phenomenal Mexican inspired bites. If you are familiar with the Jacoby Restaurant Group you will not be surprised on the well executed opening of this welcoming new concept. The concept is self described as \”Bright, tropical eatery serving a wide-range of central & coastal Mexican cuisines.\”
The menu consists of mouthwatering apertivos, tantalizing crudos, playfully plated tacos, fresh ensaladas & sopas and heartier plato principal. Here is a look at the vivacious cocktails and fabulous snacks we tried:
CDMX Cocktail at Grizzelda\’s
CDMX is a smokey alluring cocktail that is flavored to perfection with all spice dram and finished with smoked rosemary.
Grizz Mizz at Grizzelda\’s
The pretty in pink Grizz Mizz is a refreshing take on a classic margarita with El Jimador Tequila, orange liqueur, house made grizz simple and fresh lime. Speaking of pink drinks, a huge shout out to the bar program for having a lovely rose wine on the menu.
Tostada de Atun at Grizzelda\’s

I have the biggest crush on their tostadas de atun! The perfect cuts of ahi tuna is topped with a chili aioli, crispy shallot and fresh avocado.
Guacamole, Salsa and House Tortilla Chips at Grizzelda\’s
The fresh guacamole, salsas and house tortilla chips is the perfect start to any meal. The guacamole is kick\’n with Serrano, cilantro and zesty lime and are balanced with a variety of house made salsas served with their addicting house tortilla chips.
Taco at Grizzelda\’s

The savory Deshabrada tacos are not to be missed. The short ribs are topped with a unique cilantro-caper mojo, a delightful crema, crispy shallots and salsa caribe.
The Ceviche Mixito (not pictured) with shrimp with today\’s catch, creamy avocado, cilantro and lime is a true crowd pleaser and a seafood lovers dream.
