Zilker Park is celebrating their 100th anniversary in true Austin spirit! Austin Parks Foundation announced the exciting new collaboration with Zilker Brewing Company to create a special limited-edition beer to honor Zilker Park\’s 100th anniversary. The epic beer Parks & Rec was launched May 24th and can be found at local retailers including HEB, Central Market, Whole Foods, Spec’s and you can also swing by the Zilker Brewery tasting room! A portion of the Parks & Rec sales will be donated to APF’s Zilker fund, which will go toward the long-term updates and maintenance of the Zilker Playscape. Join me in supporting this wonderful cause while supporting our local craft beer scene one cold brew at a time! The refreshing ZBC beer features a proprietary blend of four different hop varieties highlighting Centennial hops resulting in a crisp, citrusy, and incredibly balanced taste. In my opinion it is the perfect summer beer.
During the launch party held on May 25th, Yeti donated proceeds from custom Yeti Crowlers to the worthy cause.
