Liven Up the Kitchen with Con \’Olio Oils and Vinegars

Picnicking with Con \’Olio Oils and Vinegars

Full disclosure: I received complimentary oils and vinegars from Con \’Olio. All opinions are my own.

Con \’Olio Oils and Vinegars is a locally owned tasting bar and shop that was founded in 2009. Founders Jeff and Tabatha Conarko were inspired by and found their passion while traveling Europe and getting a taste of quality oils and vinegars. The boutique shop has an intimate feel making it a unique and personable experience. I have personally taken their Oils 101 class and learned so much from it. The team is a wealth of knowledge and sampling is highly encouraged. The Fusti storage containers properly preserve the high grade oils. They ensure authenticity by bottling directly from the Fustis which have both the harvest date and chemical-testing results listed. The fused and infused olive oils easily liven up a dish! The brightly flavored Meyer Lemon olive oil, the Spanish Oro Bailen Picual Olive Oil, Neapolitan Herb Balsamic Vinegar and the delightful Honey Ginger Balsamic Vinegar are just a few of our favorites. Looking to pair an oil and vinegar together? Stop in and ask the team for recommendations and experiment at the tasting bar.
Con \’Olio Dipping Olive Oil & Vinegar

Drizzling your vinegars and/or oils over your favorite pasta dish, Caprese salad, house made pizzas or simply for dipping baguette are fun ways to incorporate these fine oils and vinegars. The Sesame Seed Oil with a dash of Honey Ginger Balsamic Vinegar adds so much flavor to cold soba noodle dishes.
Con \’Olio has been busy in the kitchen and have wonderful recipes to inspire your next meal in the kitchen: Con \’Olio recipes. I personally look forward to making their Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl recipe. Here are a few quick recipes that I like to make using Con \’Olio Oils and Vinegars:

Berry Mascarpone on Baguette

Strawberry Mascarpone Baguette with Con \’Olio Oil & Vinegar

Toasted baguette drizzled in Oro Balien Picual EVOO from Con \’Olio Olive Oil topped with creamy mascarpone, fresh fruit and their Raspberry Balsamic makes for the perfect breakfast and appetizer.

Caprese Skewer Drizzled in Con \’Olio Oil & Vinegar
Caprese Skewers are a fun salad that are easy to snack on at home, take on a picnic or dish for a party. We like drizzling Caprese salad with Con \’Olio\’s Neapolitan Herb Balsamic Vinegar and Organic Herbs de Provence Olive oil.
Berry Caprese Skewers Drizzled in Con \’Olio Balsamic Vinegar

While I love traditional Caprese, a berry Caprese with mint is a perfect summer treat! It is excellent topped with Traditional Balsamic Vinegar or the Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar.

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with Con \’Olio Balsamic Vinegar

Did you know that the right olive oil and/or balsamic is the perfect topping for ice cream? We love topping balsamic vinegar on vanilla bean ice cream paired with mint and fresh berries.

  1. This looks so fresh and inviting. I'm going to have to make a run to Con 'Olio soon and try this for myself. Thanks for the review!
