Bird Bird Biscuit Now Open in East Austin

Bird Bird Biscuit Sandwiches

Full Disclosure: I attended a complimentary tasting at Bird Bird Biscuit. All opinions are my own.

Good news my Austin friends, the wait is over! Former general manager of Thunderbird Coffee, Brian Batch, and current owner, Ryan McElroy, officially opened their new fast-casual spot Bird Bird Biscuit as of 6/28. I found my new happy place in Bird Bird Biscuit and I know you will too. I previewed Austin’s newest breakfast and lunch spot and adore everything about the new concept where Biscuits are the star of the show.
Bird Bird Biscuit

The restaurant is cherry like the sunshine and their biscuits are perfection. Brian spent some time perfecting a biscuit that can hold up in a sandwich and taste amazing and he nailed it. They offer a variety of mouth-watering biscuit sandwiches to include some vegetarian offerings such as the the Lush Life with fried eggplant, house made pickles, fresh mozzarella and garlic tomato jam & their take on a veggie biscuits and gravy. For those with a sweet tooth I recommend giving the Childhood  with peanut butter, chocolate chips and bananas a try. For heartier options the Bird Bird Bacon and the Queen Beak will not disappoint. On the lighter side, they offer Dough-Doughs (biscuit donut holes) and Biscuit & Jam.
