DOUGHvember, kicked off November 1st and is happening through Giving Tuesday on Dec. 3. The charity-driven campaign, which will take place throughout the month of November through #GivingTuesday on Tuesday, Dec. 3, will support different local charity nonprofit partners throughout the entire fundraiser. Would love for you to consider this news for future coverage you have planned in the coming weeks.
All three locations, including South Congress, More Home Slice and North Loop, will again be donating a percentage of sales to four different charities over the course of the month – Carrying Hope, SAFE Alliance, Austin Bat Cave and Austin Parks Foundation. In effort to raise even more money this year, Home Slice will be donating 10% from the entire month\’s sales to the participating locations along with donations from Via 313 Pizza and Pinthouse Pizza again this year. For reference, Via 313 will be donating 10% of their Monday sales to the participating charities, and Pinthouse Pizza will be donating 50 cents per pint sold at NoLo and SoCo. Additionally, charity raffle tickets are also available for purchase at each Home Slice location, with prizes including FREE pizza for an entire year.
Home Slice is also offering a special DOUGHvember-only menu, including items like the Vodka Pie, a New York-style specialty pie featuring a tomato cream sauce made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Pinthouse Pizza’s “Electric Jellyfish” IPA, the \”Lower East Sidecar\” cocktail (NoLo only) made with Western Grace Brandy, italicus, and lemon, and more.
And to conclude/celebrate the month of giving, Home Slice will host a grand finale at the SoCo location in partnership with Via 313 and Pinthouse on Giving Tuesday (Dec.3). 100% of proceeds raised during the event will be donated evenly amongst the charities. More details on the finale will be revealed later this month.
