I will be celebrating the first day of 2020 at Forthright Cafe! Forthright NYD Brunch is available from 9a-3p. Come by for a straightforward brunch and try some Forthright classics like Avocado Toast with poached eggs or Chicken and Waffles. Or, get adventurous with new items like Toasted Coconut French Toast or the revamped Wild Mushroom Toast and Brunch Burger. Their kitchen offers GF options too!

The Recently opened North Austin eatery Provision is offering an all-you-can-eat New Year\’s Day brunch buffet. Menu items include Braised Short Rib Hash, BYOG (Build Your Own Granola), Brined Chicken Chilaquiles, Biscuits and Gravy, Deviled Eggs and much, much more. The brunch buffet is $35 per person ($15 for kids ages 12 and under) and will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 1.

| Revelry on the Boulevard Brunch |
Revelry on The Boulevard neighborhood restaurant, one of my favorite patios and pup friendly restaurants, will be open. Revelry Blvd has 13 TVs making it also the perfect spot to watch the NYD games. I highly recommend the Chicken & Waffle with citrus garlic honey and hot honey.
Start 2020 off right this year at Salt Traders and celebrate with an oyster special – a dozen oysters for $20.20. In addition to oysters, drink specials will be flowing! Their raw bar is one of my favorites and is the perfect way to start the new year.
Sixth and Waller is doing a fun brunch with fried chicken & biscuits, black eyed peas Benedict, and shrimp and grits!
The Peached Tortilla on Burnet will be open for brunch on New Year\’s Day. Brunch is 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and the regular brunch menu will be available along with some featured specials. Specials include:
• Kofta Breakfast Sandwich: lamb patty, pasture-raised soft scrambled eggs, American cheese, English muffin. Served with a side of crispy Yukon gold potatoes.
• Fried Chicken Sandwich: Asian slaw, Japanese pickles, gochu sauce. Served with a side of Belgian fries.
• Short Rib Benedict: English muffin, 45-minute egg, Korean braised short rib, kochukaru hollandaise.
Bar Peached will also be open for brunch on New Year\’s Day. Brunch is 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will be serving up their regular brunch favorites.
