Full Disclosure: I received a complimentary brunch experience at Provision. All opinions are my own.

The newly opened Provision opened their doors just months ago and is already earning rave reviews. Provision was founded by husband-and-wife team Albert Gonzalez and Poeta Asher. Chef Albert has served as executive chef for some of the best Austin restaurants to include Jacoby’s Restaurant & Mercantile, Grizzelda’s, NXNW, and Red’s Porch. Poeta was born and raised in Austin, and formerly served as Event Coordinator for Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden. They are bringing their sense of community and creativity into their north Austin restaurant with Sunday dinner and other appealing events to include yoga classes on the patio.

The beautiful dining room has an open modern feel with a welcoming patio facing Query Lake. The menu is innovative, blending classic dishes with flavorful twist resulting in phenomenal dishes. I recently dined in for their brunch which is now available both Saturday and Sunday and was pleased with our exceptional experience. From thoughtful plating, and delectable dishes and friendly service.. I was thoroughly impressed.

Deviled Eggs at Provision

We started our brunch with thre plump Deviled Egg plated with a kickin house hot sauce and giardiniera.
Salmon Toast at Provision

I am enamored with the beautifully dressed Salmon Toast at Provision! The stunning dish is on  seeded grain bread topped with cured salmon, caper, and an incredible pickled fresno pepper & parsley mint mojo.
Short Rib Benedict at Provision

Our eyes became big as sauces as the Short Rib Benedict made its way onto our dining table. The rich dish has perfectly braised short rib on a toasted english muffin, poached egg, pickled fresno pepper, chimichurri, hollandaise & crispy shallot.
Breakfast Sandwich at Provision

The Breakfast Sandwich is a solid option with a flavorful age breakfast sausage topped with a sunny side up egg, oaxaca cheese, bibb lettuce & pink peppercorn aioli on brioche.

Monday – Saturday 11am-10pm
Saturday Brunch 11am-2pm
Sunday Brunch 10am-2pm
Sunday Dinner 2pm-9pm

Monday-Friday/Bar and patio seating only 3pm-6pm
