Thursday kicks off the three day celebration with a ribbon cutting with the Chamber Of Commerce. Every table receives a complimentary roll called the hound dog roll to commemorate Elvis Presley. The Hound dog is packed full of flavor and has salmon, yellow tail, tuna, crab, cucumber, mango, tempura battered with spicy mayo and chili aioli. There is also all day happy hour drink specials.

The party continues Friday and Saturday with discounted drinks, music (DJ Friday night and Roll On Family Band Saturday) and reverse happy hour from 9pm-12pm. While you are there make sure to check out the the new menu. They recently launched 20 new menu items and here are a few of my favorites:
Roll On Sushi had a roll naming contest. I named the Fruity Vegan which is cucumber, tempura fried jalapenos topped with a strawberry and mango salsa.

For the sushi purist they added sashimi to their offerings. They do a wonderful job with presentation.

To commemorate Austin icon Leslie Cochran, Roll On added the Leslie Roll to the menu. The Leslie Roll is spicy tuna, soft shell crab and cucumber topped with unagi sauce, Roll On guacamole and Roll on Crunch.
