I recently attended a food blogger dinner at Sagra and had an incredible experience. From tasty appetizers, fresh salads, savory entrees, wood-fired pizza and decadent desserts I was impressed with what Sagra has to offer. Sagra launched some refreshing new craft cocktails to include the vieux carre with luscious blackberry infused Overholt whiskey and the fredo showcasing Texas\’ own Waterloo gin. We tried so many fabulous menu items and here are some of my top dishes that we tried during the tasting:

The refreshing arancia rosa cocktail is the perfect patio sipper! It\’s made with local favorite Dripping Springs Vodka, blood orange juice, cranberry and a twist of orange.

The crowd pleasing calamari fra Diavalo is the perfect way to start your meal. This dish has crispy squid, pepperoncini, chilies to warm things up and tossed with a spicy tomato sauce and fresh arugula.

I absolutely love the arugula salad at Sagra! The flavorful salad has fresh pear, pancetta, gorgonzola with delightful honey truffle vinaigrette.

Sagra Trattoria and Bar offers a daily happy hour from 4PM-630PM which includes 1/2 priced pizza & $2 off specialty cocktails, beer and wine. on Tuesdays guests are treated to all you can eat mussels Tuesday for only $12. Saturday and Sunday brunch offers some delicious deals too with $2 mimosas & bellini.
