Mia Italian Tapas & Bar Now Open at the Domain

Mia Italian Tapas & Bar is the newest addition to the newly open businesses on Rock Rose Ave. in the Domain. James Sun, Crimson Scorsonelli, Chef Alonso Lopez and the entire team did an impeccable job cultivating a phenomenal menu, exceptional bar program and in creating a warm & inviting atmosphere. The stunning restaurant lures guests in with handsome dark woods, exposed brick, gleaming Edison bulbs hanging from the ceiling and the open space feels welcoming.

The appetizing menu consists of refreshing cocktails, tantalizing tapas & shareable plates, decadent pizzas along with delectable desserts. We dined in during a \”friends and family\” event and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed each and every dish.

Peach Bellini and Veccio Stile Cocktail at Mia Italian Tapas & Bar

We started off with a peach Bellini and a Veccio Stile cocktail. The beautiful Bellini has white peach puree an Enza Prosecco. The Bellini is perfectly balanced with acidity and sugar making for a delightful drink. The Veccio Stile is a uniquely flavored cocktail with Redemption Rye, bitters and house-made simple syrup stirred and finished with orange & cherry.

Mia Italian Tapas & Bar – Bread

Dining guests are greeted with their soft house-made focaccia bread. For dinner we enjoyed four tapas and finished with the Berry Tart dessert.

Salmon Crudo at Mia Italian Tapas & Bar

The first tapa was the incredible Salmon Crudo. The delicate cuts of sushi grade salmon is plated with a bright citrus vinaigrette, soy and crispy shallots. While I loved each of the tapas this was definitely my favorite.

Marinated Button Mushrooms at Mia Italian Tapas & Bar

The pleasant Marinated Button Mushrooms tapa is served slightly cool and has a hint of citrus.

\”Yummy Figs\” at Mia Italian Tapas & Bar

The savory Bacon Wrapped Figs on top of a red sauce and plated with fresh arugula salad paired beautifully with the Lyric Etude Pinot Noir.

Braise Petite Short Ribs at Mia Italian Tapas & Bar

The heavenly Braised Petite Short Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender on a bed of mashed potatoes proved to be the ultimate comfort food.
