The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas hosts a phenomenal line up of wine and food centric events throughout the year. Through their philanthropy program many of these events benefit nonprofits in our community to include Dell Children\’s Medical Center, Capital Area Food Bank, Urban Roots and Texas A&M Viticulture & Fruit Lab.
I have attended several of the amazing events with Wine & Food Foundation of Texas to include the inaugural Toast & Roast which is a can\’t miss event! This year the Toast & Roast will take place on the gorgeous grounds of Stonehouse Villa and will showcase some of Texas\’ finest wineries. From 2 p.m.-3 p.m. guests will have an opportunity to sip and stroll while tasting Texas Monthly\’s Best Texas Wines of 2015. From 3 p.m.-5 p.m. guests will be treated to a roast by Chef Bates of Noble Pig, music by Bob Appel and glasses of wine from the award wining Texas wineries Fall Creek Vineyards, Pedernales Cellars and Kuhlman Cellars.
