Libations & Bites at Lone Star Court in the Domain

You may have seen Lone Star Court\’s cool retro glowing sign while driving down Domain Drive but did you know they have a bar, restaurant and 2 food trailers on site?! The Water Trough bar & Restaurant, Feed Store trailer and CupCaking Desire trailer are open to the public and make for a splendid way to take in an afternoon or evening in North Austin.

Kimchi Dog and Truffle Fries at the Feed Store

The Feed Store serves up casual yet flavorful menu items to include a Kimchi Hot Dog,  the Pork Belly Burger and Truffle Fries. I opted for the hearty Kimchi Dog and a sides of Truffle Fries that paired wonderfully with the Water Trough\’s new poptails! You will want to save room for dessert at the neighboring CupCake Desire mobile bakery that serves up freshly baked cupcakes, bars, cakes, cookies and more.

Austin Palmer Poptail at the Water Trough

When you are done dining at the food trailers, make your way to the Water Trough for ice cold draft beers, wine, both classic and creative cocktails to include their summer poptails. Pictured is the Water Trough\’s refreshing Austin Palmer poptail which makes for the perfect patio sipper. The Water Trough is a lodge style layout next to the patio/pool area complete with fire pit for keeping warm in the winter months and making s\’mores throughout the year.
