Sams Boat Gulf Coast Kitchen & Sports Bar Launches New Menu

Sams Boat, North Austin\’s popular sports bar and kitchen, recently added some exciting new features to the menu. Chef Jeff Inman, Culinary Director of Sams Boat, has cultivated remarkable new menu items while staying within Sams Boat\’s approachable vibe. We recently tasted our way through much of the new menu and were thoroughly impressed with Chef Inman and his team. Here is a look at the delicious new bites:

Seared Ahi Tuna at Sams Boat

The refreshing Seared Ahi Tuna appetizer served on a bed of fresh mixed greens is topped with mandarin oranges and nicely complimented with a soy dressing on the side.

Crab Queso at Sams Boat

The new creamy Crab Queso is served with some kick\’n jalapeno cheddar and crisp warm tortilla chips.

Blackened Sared Brie at Sams Boat

I rejoiced at the site of the Blackened Seared Brie. This fabulous cheese plate has rich flavorful brie paired beautifully with apples, cranberries, apricots and addicting cheesy garlic bread.

This Lonestar Calamari app is a great way to start your meal at Sams Boat. The lightly fried calamari rings + tentacles, are mixed with lightly fried jalapeños, sliced tomatoes served with marinara and a sultry serrano ranch.

Shrimp Crab Avocado Salad at Sams Boat

The generously portioned Shrimp Crab Avocado Salad served with choice of fresh or tempura fried crab is my ideal meal. There are lots of fresh veggies and lean protein in this seemingly bottomless bowl.

Tuna Tacos at Sams Boat

The Tuna Tacos with a corn slaw and fresh avocado are on point.

Haystack Burger at Sams Boat

The grandiose Haystack Burger with quality beef is topped with melted pepper jack cheese, crisp fried jalapeños, \”frazzled onions\”, creamy guacamole a spicy chipotle mayo, fresh lettuce & tomato. I love the flavors of the beef and all the accompaniments.

Shrimp Chorizo Burger at Sams Boat

That Shrimp Chorizo Burger is a fun take on a Cajun style burger complete with skewered shrimp to hold the goodness together.

Crawfish at Sams Boat

When crawfish is in season ordering these plump gorgeous Gulf coast crawfish and fixins at Sams Boat is a must!

Bananas Foster Cheescake at Sams Boat
