Full Disclosure: I attended a complimentary preview tasting at Hopdoddy Burger Bar in the Triangle. All opinions are my own.
Hopdoddy Burger Bar restaurant is now serving up their highly rated Angus and Akushi beef burgers at their new Triangle location. The Austin-born restaurant\’s new location opens their doors at 11am on Monday, September 19th. The sprawling patio is the perfect place to enjoy Hopdoddy\’s signature cocktails, a cold Texas brew or glass of wine paired with your favorite burger and fries. From 2 tops, to booths there are plenty of seating options in their expansive dining room.
We previewed the new location and enjoyed the delicious bites, refreshing cocktails and welcoming atmosphere. Here is a first look:
The bar menu consists of fun craft cocktails, a nice selection of Texas brews and a small yet thoughtful wine selection.

The Sangrita is Hopddody Burger Bar\’s playful take on sangria with tequila. The Sangria is a delicious blend of gold tequila, freshly-squeezed orange and lime juices a touch of pomegranate grenadine, served on the rocks with a tangy chile salt rim.

The Mighty Mule is a refreshing patio sipper of Vodka, ginger brew and fresh lime.

You will want to order the Lil\’ Prick based on the name alone but after one sip this vibrant drink will soon become your new favorite cocktail at Hopdoddy Burger Bar.

Red wine goes mighty fine with Hopdoddy burgers. I recommend their Parducci Red made with sustainable grapes. At $5 a glass, this wine is an excellent deal.

| Goodnight Good Cause Burger at Hopdoddy Triangle |
The Goodnight Good Cause burger is a tasty burger that will not only make your belly happy but is indeed for a good cause. For each Goodnight burger purchased, Hopdoddy donates $1 to LONE STAR PARALYSIS. This burger consists of juicy Angus beef, melted Tillamook Cheddar, caramelized onions, fresh jalapeños, hickory BBQ, HBB Sassy Sauce, red leaf lettuce and beefsteak tomato.

You can dress the Classic Burger of Angus beef, red leaf lettuce, white onion, beefsteak tomato, Sassy Sauce to your liking. We like to add crisp bacon and Tillamook Cheese.

On the lighter side, the Ahi Tuna is a crowd favorite. This dreamy sandwich has sushi-grade tuna complimented with fresh sprouts, nori chips Teriyaki, a delightful honey wasabi, pickled ginger, red leaf lettuce, white onion and beefsteak tomato.

Let\’s not forget the sides! An order of Kennebec fries served with Chili con Queso or the addictive Truffle Fries are the perfect starter or side to pair with your meal.
